Bought this to utilise the dead space in the corner of the door. The rack comes with a strap and buckle to secure it to the heater vent and a USB connection to plug into the 12v outlet beside the cup holder. I wasn’t happy with the strap securing method as I have a step mat fitted so I used 3 plastic corner brackets attached with 3M double sided tape and a cable tie onto the heater vent which held it in place securely. I was concerned that it may be difficult to remove the table mounted in the sliding door but it doesn’t affect it. The USB connection needs a very short adapter or it fouls the rear seat as you slide it back and forward. Having made these modifications I’m happy with the rack and I’m sure it will be handy to store shoes and other items however it’s MEGA expensive for what it is.
