Anyone had a problem with the side door not unlatching from the inside when in the open position. Opens fine with the outside handle.

Closing it from the open position with inside handle. It doesn't operate latch.

Is the child on the drivers door on ? I thought I had a fault with mine as the latch inside didn’t work but the outside one did or have a misinterpreted the issue ?

No, the handle won't operate the release catch when in the open position .
