If you measure the hole....you will get one at a DIY store. I have lost a couple over the years.....

Thank you! It is comforting to know that I am not the only one!

I have tried one hardware chain. Unfortunately my inability to explain anything that is remotely practical and the assistant clearly not having English as his first, and possibly 2nd 3rd or 4th, language led to me, in response to "want a small sink plug", being shown a variety of small, and not so small, sinks.

Currently a bit of caerdboard cut to size and wrapped in cling-film is doing the job :crazy

Thank you Les, and John :thumb

I had been trying general hardware shops,

It did not strike me to try a specialist camping or caravan shop. Just how dim do you get :headbang

Especially as me going into a hardware or DIY shop is something that normally causes panic amongst all that know me :D

Hi there....

You can actually get them from Volkswagen as a spare part. Around £7.50 +vat

There are two choices depending on age of vehicle.

Regards

Steve

Goodness steve ... :D

and Bert, thank you :D

I really thought that I would be the only person in the history of campervans to ever be daft enough to lose a sink plug and they would be as rare as hens teeth to replace!

I now find I am overwhelmed !

Goodness, where I once had that sinking feeling I now feel drained with relief :crazy

Hi

As you are a VIP member give SMG a ring on the banner above and you can get VW parts with a discount. I have bought various bits snd bobs and had fantastic service and quick delivery.
