Sink tap has come apart.

My sink tap has come apart. The two round black parts that rotate against each other when you move the tap up and down have seperated. It doesn't look broken, yet isn't easily snapping back. Anyone any ideas? Looks like it should push fit.

Ours fell off once - and just clicking it back together fixed it. Had to press quite hard - and the first time I tried it it sort of half went on and fell off again soon after, but second time I must have applied more force and it has been fine ever since...

You should be able to push it back together. It does take a bit of practice though.

Thanks all no luck..it just comes apart; no click home etc. Will see if it can be replaced.
