18 months and many trips in, one of my biggest frustrations is lack of/ poor WiFi/ mobile data in UK.
We have done 2 big trips to France and generally find the mobile data very good. But UK is awful, especially when you are away from cities and big towns, as most touring sites are.
We tend to use the CAMC sites as we like the facilities, showers, toilets etc. The WiFi is always poor, even when you pay for the premium option.
I have Sky mobile and my wife has Giffgaf, both use the O2 network.
I'm going to swap to another provider because the Sky service is not very good.
I'm thinking about going to Vodafone.
It would be good to get other members experience and any other suggestions .
Thanks in advance.

I'm with 1p Mobile which is a MVNO and uses the EE signal and is highly recommended on the ISPreview forum. I also have a global eSim from esim.sm which allows me to connect to the other three main UK providers when the EE signal is not available, that's if they're available. The advantage of this sim is that you only pay for the data that you use, so I add £5 of credit at a time and there is no expiry on your credit. UK data is £1 per GB.

Just to clarify that I only use my esim for an emergency backup when I have no signal on my provider.

We have just bought one of these . Works brilliantly for us and great value . We also purchased the Esim at 50% off. We plugged it in to the inverter socket while off grid camping.

We purchased after watching Wills video from Campervantime.

I am with Vodafone I don’t find it to bad and they have just merged with the Three network. They say it will be the best uk coverage available over the next few months.

I see that it's 4G only - what download speeds are you typically receiving?
