I was cleaning my Cali after his maidentrip trough Europe.
The sliding door of the rear closet (backdoor) wasn't sliding very well.
When trying to close the door, the tape cape of and the door is in pieces.
How to repair? New tape?
Someting to make the door better slide?

If it is not too badly damaged, duct tape will do the job.

I put an extra two pieces of tape on all the doors in my vans when they were brand new as the tape VW use it not very good.

Good idea Martin, I also removed all the screws from the chairs and used a little locktite on them. A drop of oil based paint will also do the trick.
I was lucky when a screw came out of the chair it was still in the the chairs housing on the rear door.
My first Cali had the same trouble with the rear closet door. As I was showing it to the potential buyer it came apart (sods law )
I am now more than careful of those doors.
