Slightly opening roof

Is it ok to slighty raise the electric roof and keep it in that position for most of the day?
Reason I ask is that i will be leaving the van with the detailers for ceramic coating and the guy doesnt want to be messing with raising and lowering the roof.
He has suggested coating all internal body work inside doors etc. He also suggested coating under the roof etc.
Will it be ok to raise the roof partially without causing damage to the hydraulics?

I can’t see any reason why not. I’ve done it when cleaning the roof but only for a short time.
