So who is into model making?

These were my Christmas presents from my girls this year. Both remote control from app on my phone. Land Rover last year and campervan the year before. Looking forward to next Christmas. 704ACEA4-01C8-4501-919B-C5F95C7F9699.jpeg

Christmas Day , model started, finished Boxing Day.
Next one to do is the Lamborghini sitting waiting an evening to start it.
Quite fancy the Defender model.

Try the Faller fairground models if you want to do something different they're quite impressive when you have completed them and added a few lights etc. Over this last year I've built quite a collection and am now in the process of making a bit of a theme park, it's definitely helped over the lockdowns and restrictions.

It’s a pity Lego aren’t consistent in the Scaling of their models.
The Defender is twice the size of the VW Camper.

Model 3.
1/32 Scale Steam Train and Tender, made of wood, no glue and powered by rubber bands. 16098549629743285477665071800034.jpg
Same principle as this Pendulum Clock, but a lot more involved.

That’s the bus done

Best tool I bought for this model, a little model hammer. Magic.

I have the camper, plus a few others. Kids love lego too. Used to race a RC cars back in the day too, so on the look out for an old associated RC10.

Project 3 finished. A wooden steam engine & tender. Elastic windup motor and it moves forwards and backwards on a 4' long track. This is it on the display track.
