Solar panels plus charging lead?

Just wondering if anyone goes away with two 100W solar panels plus their hook-up charging lead as a ‘just in case’. I’m looking to go to Sicily next month. We’re not big electricity users, but we do tend to park in the shade when it’s hot.
It would be great if someone could put my mind to rest and I could save all of that charging cable space.

I always carry a cable with me, but I never use it. And I only have one 100-watt panel. My cable is placed under the bonnet, on the battery, all year round.

How many metres can you comfortably get in there?

15 meters, but possible a little longer I think
