I recently installed a 2 x 100w solar system with Victron MPPT charger from Roger on my T6.1. Yesterday I also connected a Delta 2 via his 12v cigar socket cable to the Victron load terminals.

This morning I was initially surprised how quickly the Delta had charged up but looking at the Victron history it looks like the leisure batteries were largely used to do this as their voltage went down to 11.4v. I thought the whole point of the Victron was that it avoided this and prioritised (and therefore protected) the leisure batteries. Or have I done something wrong?

I will be interested in the answer to this as well.

Did you adjust the Load Settings/output to only work when the Leisure Batteries are at a certain voltage?

I had the same issue. I emailed Roger who was able advise removing the small “jumper” from the Victron controller and adjusting the settings in the Victron app. Although I bought the panels from Roger, I sourced the cigarette cable elsewhere so didn’t have the original instructions. Roger was kind enough to email the instructions which he normally supplies with the charging cable.

Thanks for your reply. I had removed the jumper but was relying on the default Victron "battery life" setting. I've just turned on one of the user defined settings with the low load switch set at 12.8v. Hopefully this will prevent it happening again. Does anyone know if there's a simply way to check that it's working correctly?

in the output settings on MPPT you can set to only charge ECOFLOW when above a set voltage so say 11.9v or something so the leisure doesnt drop to low. (All done via the app) note that when you first set up or make changes it can take a while before it actually applies.
