Just back from 6 days here. The site is just off the A1, but the traffic noise was minimal. It is large and has statics at the back and then well spaced and large touring pitches nearer the front. The facilities were excellent and very clean. There were family showers and a huge games field and a big playground, so a good site for children. Dogs were well catered for with a large wooded dog walk with a stream. It took just 10 mins to drive to Bamburgh where the parking is free. At the entrance to the site there is a farm shop with a lovely coffee shop and another children's playground. Belford is about a ten minute walk along a quiet road with a pavement all the way. There are a couple of pubs , a co op and a chip shop.
The site was strikingly clean and tidy - it made for a very easy and pleasant stay and we would definitely stay there again, although it may not suit those who prefer a " back to basics " sort of site.
