It's a blue VW California CAMPERVAN T5
Registration number MA07 MZD
Stolen from Failsworth Area, Manchester - Friday 30th Sep 2022 during early morning hours.

Has a VW Bike rack on back.
Seats are grey and blue.

Contains 2 bikes and all our camping kit.

Hope you get it back. I'm local and out and about today so will keep my eyes peeled.
When the stress has lowered, it's always helpful to share with the group details of how it happened... Did they break in to the house for keys, were the police any good etc?

They broke in, took some random things from the house and the keys. They took so little that we didn't notice for an hour or so after getting up, it was only after I started looking for my children's school bags that we realized exactly what had happened.

So far the police have not jumped into action, talked to CSI people and they didn't seem interested, nothing left behind, no drops of blood on the doors.

Going to get a visit from the investigating officer this evening, probably get told to get alarm, CCTV etc.

Heartbreaking - I hope you find it. I've been burgled twice but they never took anything as valuable as a Cali. Best of luck

Very sad and annoying. As an owner of Land Rovers, I've had two stolen.

Both times the police were very good, second time they arrived in about 4 mins of the call as they were already investigating seven thefts that morning by a gang in our area. The gang broke into our house while we were asleep and took the keys. We got the full CSI treatment, but the gang were very careful and cleaned the route in/out of the house. Police said don't hide your keys as you will likely be threatened to give them up.

Hope you get yours back in good shape.

Can recommend Ring Cameras linked to an Alexa alert. The Alexa alert woke me up!

Police caught the two blokes that gained access to to our car within 30mins.

Without the cameras, chances are we wouldn't have known it had been attempted.
