I doubt it. The T4 doesn't have a hydraulic roof. Manual only. But I agree that a bit more info would help.Just to clarify: are you talking about a T4, as your profile information shows? If so, I’m sure there are others who have relevant experience.
No it is a T5Just to clarify: are you talking about a T4, as your profile information shows? If so, I’m sure there are others who have relevant experience.
DO you mean physically pulling the roof down?Try lowering the roof with only the ignition on, without starting the motor.
Thanks for that. But how do i close the roof then is it by physically pulling it down?Is it manual or electric roof on T5? If electric, then the ignition only - no running engine is the next step to try.
You turn the ignition on as if to start the engine (2 clicks) (the dashboard lights and glowplug light comes on)but don’t twist the key the final bit to engage the starter motor. Then try pressing the button to lower the roof. Thanks for that. But how do i close the roof then is it by physically pulling it down?

I've been trying to get a replacement control panel knob for our T5 without success (campervan bits). I've been told there's a supply problem with this item. Any alternative sources would be very welcome.
