It’s stuck shut. We can’t get to open the roof! All safety catches off, the roof clips fully disengaged? Should just need a good shove to get it moving.
User error as normal. All sorted but help very much appreciated as always. Thank you@Pattacat Has this been sorted, feedback would be good??????????
What was the problem?User error as normal. All sorted but help very much appreciated as always. Thank you
Glad you got it sorted.I really don’t know... went back and tried again and it was fine!
My slider used to jam/stick really hard when opening and closing and I could see scored scratches in the runners. Decided to liberally spray with silicone spray you wouldn’t believe how easily it opens and closes now.I had similar in the past in our T5 and I found one of the slats had moved slightly and was jamming?
Tom
How did you get it to open , ours has got stuck todayWe are parked up ready to set up but the roof cover is totally stuck. Will only open a couple of inches. Any ideas welcome please!
Ok thanks , will give it ago tomorrow, just didn’t want to force it too much and break it , but will try a bit more forceBrute force and ignorance... after 2 hours of being gentle my husband lost patience and thumped it. Loosened the grip the lockdown clips had on it and all was well.....
Ps. Good luck!
Mine stuck open when I got it because the unit had come off the rail and slid under. Lift the mattress up and have a fettle. My problem was that it was stuck in the open position. Could not close it so had bellows resting on my head as I drive off. Any ideas what might be making it stick? It would not slide even with bellows open.
