T4 diesel heater

Hope this is the right place to post, as I new to this forum.

I have a 1995 T4 California model. When I bought her a couple of years ago, the heater worked fine. It then developed an intermittent fault where it would only blow out cold air, and there was no usual 'clunking' noise (I assume this is a pump of some sort). The fault could normally be rectified by switching off and on again. Now have got to the stage where only cold air is produced, no matter what you do. Is there anything I can check or try to fix it? Help.

I've had a similar problem recently, but it's gone back to all working fine at the moment, so I'm not sure what the problem is.

They're quite simple, so it's like to be pump or glow plug. Not sure how easy they are to replace or source parts for.

Let us know what the problem is if you find it, I think I'll be facing the same problem again at some point.
