T5 2014 - Leisure batteries?

Hi, newbie owner with what we call our "pov spec" beach.

We're still learning what we do have (not very much!) and don't have (long list).

I'm confused as to whether we have 1 leisure battery, should have 2 and what the actual function of it is if the plug sockets only work on hook up? (There's wires under the passenger seat so I'm assuming it's there?)

Also looking for auxiliary heater installation recommendations in the northwest UK so we can eventually get it warm over night!

The Beach only has 1 Leisure Battery that powers the lights and 12v sockets behind the front seats.
If you have the External mains socket to plug into Campsite mains then this will power a Mains charger to recharge the Leisure battery and any Mains socket you have in the vehicle.
A diesel Parking Heater will be wired to run off the Leisure battery.
