Anyone know a decent vw specialist near Nottingham that would be able to investigate the troublesome electrics in my 2014 beach?
Intermittent alternator light coming on, intermittently not charging the main battery. Doesn’t appear to be charging the leisure on hook up but working on alternator( when that’s working). Hoping it all relates to the aged batteries that I’m replacing.

There is c&r enterprises in Radford, meant to be very good. I did price a service there and it was more than Imperial, vw commercial place, in Beeston!
Would be worth calling and discussing before commiting where to take it.

Just had my beach in for a non charging leisure battery when on hook up and it was the lead for the charger that’s hidden in the panels under the sliding window had come loose.

First check I would make is check the leisure battery under the seat that there are no loose connections. I had some issues a year after getting my beach and it was a loose bolt on the battery connectors.
