T5 cali roof box options

What’s the options for a roof box on the factory T5 cali?
Is it better to fit roof rails and use cross bars or is there an option to have bars direct into the roof fixings? Thanks

The club shop sells thule bars and mounting feet that fit straight into the cali roof channels, there are two lengths (widths of bar) and two different height options with the Thule foot pack.
if you go to the club shop and look you will see the Thule product and options.

I use a Thule ski box and Thule aero bars, only use the box when ski / camping. Use telescopic ladders to get to it. If you used a wide box not sure how you'd get access to the contents.

Also need to keep an eye on the weight.

We used Thule bars and a Kamei Delphine box when we needed to take a double pram to Spain for a month. Both from Roofbox.co.uk.
It is very difficult to get at the contents and you pretty much have to take everything out before putting the roof up.
I was glad when I took it off.
