Can anyone tell us if there is any major differences between the t5 and t5.1 dashboards. Having hand controls fitted and need to check there is enough room to push the silverline lever brake.
The manufacturers (Brig-Ayd ) have got one for 2012 t5.1 but will this be okay for a 2008 t5?
Can anyone help?

It's just the same, apart from maybe a different colour.

Apart from the fact that I have a left handed steering wheel dashboard, and the comfort dashboard (not the Transporter dashboard), I have the same dashboard as a T5 (European Multivan) from 2003.

For instance @westfalia has a T5 (2007 or 2008 if I am not mistaking), and My 2010 5.1 has the exact same dashboard.

See for yourself.

Apart from the steering wheel, looks of the instrument cluster, radio and airco display, the shape is completely the same.

Many thanks for the pictures. We discovered the other day that the steering column can not only move to a lower or higher position, it can also move toward the dash board or toward the driver.
We positioned outs so that it's position is higher and nearer the driver so we are hopeful that there will now be plenty of room for the insertion of hand controls.
Once again, thanks for the pictures
