T5 fridge gas strut photo

HI could someone take a photo of what holds the gas strut on fridge lid ?
I have replaced mine but not sure if it needs a clip to hold it on
2008 California 2.5

Yes I can see the ETKA diagram but it does not show anything to hold gas strut on to the bracket in fridge and on the lid bracket.On each bracket there is a metal nipple sticking out that the strut holes go over but they are not fully secure.
We're as the cooker lid has spacers and nut type to hold it in place.
If I could see a photo of a 2008 fridge gas strut it would help.

Psst ....nothing has changed since the first T5 california and present on the glas top of the fridge or the struds....anyway if you chose 2008 it says this....

Partnr 32 says : set attachment parts for gas struds . Imo that should hold every bit to attach the strud to the glas top.

Or maybe things were diffrent in the early models .
If you buy the new set of bolts they sure would fix your problem imo.

When I picked the gas strut up from vw I asked the same question on how does it secure to brackets.Thats when he showed me the ETKA diagram and said it must just kill on.
The strut on mine fits to the lid and the inside side of the fridge.
I think the newer models fit to the lid and the side of the wardrobe.
There must be someone with a photo of this on a 2008 fridge ?
