T6.1 Hello

Hi all, I have participated in some of the threads and it has all been very helpful in choosing our van (and accessories) which has now been delivered to the dealership in Reading. We are retired and looking forward to exploring the UK this year and maybe further afield next year. Attached are some photos sent to us and a summary of the spec. The discussion on insurance has been particularly helpful and will probably go for the LV quote at £280 for the year. They have confirmed it includes everything that was delivered with the van. We will pick the van up on 2nd March with the 20 reg. Cheers Mac

I’m sure LV will cover everything supplied in the vehicle build. However I would check that they cover usage of the habitation equipment and camping accidents.
eg: Cooking fire, spilling glass of red wine on a seat, storm damage to awning or roof.

My enquiries lead me to believe they did not.
Also some specialist camper/Motorhome insurers provide New for Old for upto 2 years.

I will have look into that. I haven’t signed on the dotted line as yet. Thanks
