T6.1 undersink ambient LED light glowing when off

Hi all,

in my T6.1 Ocean MY20 the ambient LED light under the sink glows when it is switched off up to a point that it is not necessary to turn lights on at night:





Does it also happen to you? I read in a German forum that the wiring harness was defective and an adapter has to be installed (7LA-971-499). It also seems to be fixed in new vehicles.



Has anyone installed this new part?

So the workshop installed this part (it seems to be a resistor) and it is totally dark now. Repaired under warranty at no cost.
