Wild Rover
After installing a new Renogy electrical system in my Ocean, solar panels, combined MPPT & DC to DC charge controller with 2x100Ah lithium smart batteries, the G/Battery symbol on the bottom right of the display blinks until reset.
The fault code I get is 7001, which corresponds to loss of D+ power. I can reset it, by holding down the return button on the display, but it returns after a while (usually a few hours).
I think it may be a result of the lithium batteries intermittently disconnecting briefly as part of their self monitoring, but I’m not sure, it’s a guess.
The split charge relay was removed as part of the modification.
Does anybody know how to stop it doing this. Everything else seems to be working as intended.
