My 2018 T6 Coast has been in unattended storage for 3 Years (thanks to Coid). I intend to replace the Leisure Batteries with two Varta LA80s. Am I correct in assuming this will be an easy swap with the original VW Batteries?

Yes. Like for like. Just make sure both batteries have a similar state of charge, ideally charging them both up before fitting.
If you need to replace the engine battery then that will be a Varta F21.

Thanks for verifying WelshGas. I suspect the VW Original Leisure Batteries are simply re-labelled LA80s. However huge price difference here in Portugal - 180 vs 427 Euros per battery. I'm about to take off on a 30 Day adventure, so will report on performance on my return. Cheers.

I fitted the LA80s. No problem , lasted 48 + hours with fridge, lights , charging phone & iPad and running Parking heater the whole time and only dropped to 12.2 v.
