T6C side bars

Could anybody recommend the best side bars to go for. I’m after some decent ones, no LEDS etc

If anybody has a few pictures of the different styles, I’m aware that some are now shorter to accommodate the jacking points??

Totally unsure. Please enlighten me.

Don´t go for the straight through ones as you can´t get to the jacking points.
I would go for the VW original ones, i think they´re only about 50 quid
dearer.

If you have a T6 I would not go for the tubular ones, they look a bit dated now, we went for the new T6 ones on ours. Genuine VW Dealer part

Have a look at Van Style, they do bars way cheaper than VW. My round bars were sub £200 delivered (ebay shop offers free delivery too).
They also do the trapezoid version for £398.

Excuse the mud! these are the genuine Volkswagen angled trapezoid ones, look more subtle compared to the tubular ones that I had on my previous Cali.

That looks nice, especially without mudflaps.
I removed the plastic window slider thing above the fridge and sprayed it black so that
it blended in a bit more.
Just thought i´d share that with you

Yeah. It slides out of the wardrobe area, somehow.
It´s not too tricky.

No, the part number is the old T5 ones.

Lets hope Steve at Liverpool parts knows what I’m talking about then when I call up next week and order them.

I got mine at the Vanfest years ago, paid about 180quid, the originals were about 50quid
more. But because i was excited about having them and also that at that time
they weren´t available in germany and it wasn´t possible for me to wait for
an order i got the ´not originals´
I still regret not getting the original VW ones.

Of course they serve a propose!!...to stop radio controlled cars flying under the van and cats climbing under at night for a kip

Firstly the side bars on our T6 came from the previous T5 that we had. They were fitted by VW both times so they can be changed from a T5 to a T6.
Secondly you were asking "are they worth it? I saw this thread and had ours fitted after seeing the photo.

No the quality is good, still as good as new.
I think its just cos i want the van original-ish.

Yeah. I'm with you there. I had some on my last van. My new ones not got any and I liked them so I'm having the dilemma now. I know I should just go original but 3 snowboard hols have left me a bit skint. And then I see you can get some for 100 sheets and I was tempted. EBay.
