Tailgate open/closed door sensor

Hi All,

Recently my interior light started to flash on and off whilst driving coupled with an intermittent open (tailgate) door warning on the DIS with a ping sound. Obviously checked all doors are closed, but the issue persists. Recently the DIS warning has stopped, but the interior light is now refusing to switch off.

Anyone experienced this issue? Any quick fixes to try before booking a dealer visit?
