Being new to this campervan lark I have been getting insurance quotes. Comfort quoted around £500. Howdens quoted £2500. How on earth can one broker be five times the price of another?! Annoyingly I spent half an hour going through the Howdens quote.

Try a specialist motorhome insurance provider, caravan guard appears to be very knowledgeable and competitive, with a UK call centre,

I thought Howdens were a specialist, but I guess they are more for self-converters. Happy with the Comfort quote though.

Howdens do have a specialist camper van section, they are also brokers for the camping & caravan club.

Insurance companies diversify their portfolios to manage risks. If they have too many girls on their books they price them out and discount boys.
Jordan’s had too many campers owned by 58 year olds. They priced you out is my best guess.
