Tarp sheet for Pop up roof cocering

Hi all
As a still relatively newbie who is not yet planning very long stays, I'm looking to some options for rain protection for the pop up roof, without investing yet on isotop or other quite expensive gadgets.
Looking around, i found this tarp sheet from quechua that's intended to be a shelter for tents but it seems large enough to cover the Cali with roof up:https://www.decathlon.it/p/tarp-multifunzione-campeggio-fresh-xl/_/R-p-312999
I was wondering if anyone ever tried this?
It's no use for thermal isolation but it's only 80€, can be used as a regular shelter when needed and on occasion as a cali-cover for rain.

The pop up roof fabric is already waterproof.

If you have to close the roof while still wet, make sure to raise it again as soon as possible so it can dry...
