My 1st 1000miles in my Cali


I have now just clocked over the 1st 1000miles in my Cali seem to be a average of about 30mpg but not watching too hard until run in. I found the DGS gear box took about 3 days to forget fully I needed a left leg on the clutch stopped nose down into the road a couple of times when I put the clutch foot down on the break when stopping !!!! very happy with the DGS (the 1st auto box I have ever driven.)
We have not spent a night away in it but lots of "days" out used fridge cooker rings swivel seats roof up and down

Spotted a few other vans out on the road and waved

added a few extras full set of dark rear carpets rubber front mats and bed toppers

Very happy that I have bought a Cali I reckon better than after marked campers I had looked at.
Any concerns ONLY the bellows issue which I believe can and should be corrected by VW.

Glad your having fun with your Cali.

Just wait when you go glamping in it you will really love it, especially with the bed toppers you get the best nights sleep.
