I have three batteries on my recently acquired T6 2017 California Ocean.
- In engine compartment, under passenger seat and bottom of wardrobe. Recently when having a Solar panel fitted I was told the battery under the passenger seat was a Stop/Start battery and the leisure battery was in the bottom of the wardrobe .Is this correct?? - I was expecting the battery under the passenger seat to be a leisure batter also. I had not heard of Californias having an additional stop/start battery along with the normal engine battery?

I thought the same, I was wrong.
The seat battery is simply for leisure. The only stop start is in the engine compartment

The battery under the left seat and the one under the wardrobe are connected in parallel, and thus function as a single large battery. They are the leisure batteries.

As others have said it’s a leisure battery. In all likelihood all three batteries will actually be exactly the same if they are the original (AGM)

Thank you all for your replies. Good to know I have more leisure battery capacity!
