Hi all,
We've recently become parents to a baby girl and are keen to consider getting back into the van for local stays. With all the extra paraphernalia that comes with a little one, we have purchased a fairly small drive awning (Vango Faro III low, drive away poled awning). Of course, we also already have the wind out awning attached on the sliding door side but I'm now in a quandary about how best to use these!
Options that I'd love some feedback for:
1. Remove and attach the wind out awning to the kitchen side of the van to enable the awning rail to be used for the drive away awning. We couldn't use this in the same way of course but would provide a useful shady spot on the other side of the van as an option. It would also be a good place simply to store the awning rather than being in the house.
2. Keep them as they are, attaching the drive away awning to the kitchen side and using this space more as a storage area rather than living space. This would spoil the view out of the kitchen window though and seems like it defeats the object really.
3. Remove the wind out awning and store in the house. How easy is removal of the awning? Is it something that could be done while on site if I decided to swap the awning to the other side for example?
Thanks for any advice!
