No experience (this is the first I have heard of them) and I havent seen anyone using these sort of horizontal racks at any places I've been. Cheaper if only carrying one kayak but would need to buy 2 and the base bars to carry 2 boats. (same issue with the Thule). On a California will it actually give enough of a drop down the side to make loading easy?
Have you considered the Kombi Rak ? Similar to the Kari-tek but much better engineered (by
