Trade-in versus private sale

for anyone thinking about selling their van make sure you advertise it first, I came very close to part exchanging mine against my new Autocruise as I could not be bothered with the hassle of dealing with private buyers and tyre kickers.

Anyway I took a chance and placed an advert on here and I have now sold it for £5,500 more than the dealer offered me !!!
