Hi
With the growing family, and associated faff, I’ve decided to get a trailer to clear some room rather than get a bigger van.

I’m in the south east and will happily travel for a good condition trailer at a fair price.

I’m interested in a GT750 VT1. Don’t mind brakes or unbraked. Ideally with roof bars on top so we can take bikes or possibly a pop up tent.

Thanks

I bought an old Daxara 147 trailer.
It had 10” wheels on. £150
Took it to Indespension.
And they upgraded the base £150 (used my suspension from old trailer, into new frame) and bolted it on.
With new bearings and 13” wheel and tyres.
Now have a 650kg trailer.
£300 I have the same as a new Daxara 147.

Or buy a new 148 dax for £1140
Including hard top, cycle carrier etc.

Have you looked at hiring? Firstly to see if a given trailer works for you size-wise and design-wise, secondly as an alternative to buying outright ?

Just remember that the national speed limit for an unbraked trailer is 50mph.
I've had both and for long distances a braked trailer is better (60 mph) speed limit.
And your not allowed in the outside lane of a three lane motorway.

I have an Anssems GT750 201 HT with fitted spare and Thule roof bars. Nearly new, used for one trip Norfolk to Cornwall last year. PM me if interested.

There is no difference in speed limits between braked and unbraked trailers in the uk. They are both 50mph on single carriageways and 60 on dual carriageways and motorways.
