Tuesday night toilet thread...

Ok ok, I know it's another toilet thread but we are new to the world of Potti

We've got the green stuff to go in the waste tank and I've read that this works for 4 days then must be dumped/changed.

Two questions;

1) Is the 4 days from when mixed with water and placed in the tank or from when it is first 'used'?
2) Is there any reason not to dispose of the green waste water down a domestic toilet at home if you have been wild camping (we don't have an outside sewer drain manhole anywhere, just grey water).

Doesn't have to be dumped after days, just looses the ability to break down solids. If its not been used the green stuff stays in ours for weeks, just put a bit more in before you do use it.

Its fine to put down the pan at home assuming you are on mains drainage.
