Having struggled for nearly 10 years trying to stack /arrange items on the two shelves , we’ve found the perfect under sink storage solution. Having considered the pull out draws but, in our opinion, £350 is an astonishing amount to pay for 3 draws and it’s ‘runner’ system. So came up with this solution of ‘fridge storage containers’ which fit perfectly (a small layer of packing foam on the floor is all that was needed). Total cost from Amazon £67, meaning we’ve emptied the ‘pull out’ under bench seat draw, leaving space to fill with other goodies. Unfortunately they won’t work in the left hand cupboard if the bench seat is in the ‘forward’ position when the shelf is in situation in the boot. Thoughts?IMG_5012.jpeg

They look great! Can you give the link to the exact model please? and did you buy 8 and only use 6?

I was actually looking at something similar and cheaper in Dunelm yesterday but this far stronger. :thumb
I assume they slide open?

GENIUS!!!

Can you pop a link - there's a few different ones on there - or is it case of just measure up?

I have found this on Amazon.de and ordering it now, I have a T6.1 not T5 but I hope that it also fits. If n to the return on Amazon is easy peasy.

We re already committed to the sliding drawers on the sink side - and they do have the benefit of holding wider items such as plates etc, but that looks like very good solution.

We've recently gone with something similar on the left hand side - 4x shoe storage boxes for the lower cupboard. These are from Homebase but other options are available. We have the standard IKEA Kuggis boxes on the upper left shelf

My next project. I have always disliked the plastic shoebox solution I have used up to now because of the lip and having to physically lift out the boxes, especially the lower ones.

Great solution.....should contain any spillages etc too. Do they squeak/rattle?

We went with the IKEA Drona boxes in both left and right cupboard and the undereat drawer.
Great in the drawer, and "ok" in the cupboards but you do have to pull the whole thing out to get what you want... this just looks nice and simple!

Yeah. We've not actually been away with then yet so it remains to be seen how happy we'll be in practice. But a workable budget solution in combination with wider boxes on the outer shelf.

Does anyone know if the T5 and the T6.1 have the same cupboard size?

No they don’t (as confirmed in a phone call with Campervanbits!

NO GO. (for me). It seems that the cabinet is bigger and using the product makes more dead space all around than with boxes I already have there.
You do loose a very small amount of storage space, but it’s SO much easier getting things in and out!!

What height did you buy? All 17 CM?
It looks like the two in the middle row have less height, or is this an optical illusion?

Regards from Amsterdam,

Marc.

We bought 4 Large & Small boxes and had 2 Small left over (now utilised in the garage)!

+ Cameron Thank you for your info.

To be precize: that means 2 x rows with Vtopmart boxes 17.8 Cm height, plus 1 x row with boxes 8 cm height? In total 43.6 CM.

In our T5 of 2009 that height would just fit (the distance between the floor of our right side cupboard and the underside of the cutllery drawer is 44.5 CM.

No idea what the heights are in a T6.

Regards from Amsterdam,

Marc.
