Update the RNS 510 for something more from this era....

Last two longer trips we ran in to multiple issues with the RNS 51o, besides the perfect audio performance the system is a bit outdated. Looked around for a while and decided for a just introduced Dynavin Premium system that should integrate nicely with our Cali. Looking forward to get the system build in and will update this post with the results and findings.

Do you think volume controls will still work with the steering wheel buttons in a T5.1 Cali?

The Alpine Halo 9 System with Can Bus Interface would work with the Steering Wheel Controls, the Telephone Microphone, the Climatic Controls as in Picture but is probably a lot more expensive

It connects to the CAN-bus and all the controls should work like it would with the RNS systems, had extensive contact with technical support and even the central display still works with this system (arrows and direction information). It comes with a head-up display that can be used as well (or not).

It does indeed, as will this system. Had a look at Alpine and found the pricing was very high. Must say that Alpine has a great reputation and build/audio quality.

My Halo 9 (INE-F904DC) with built in vehicle size route planning, built in HDD Maps and Park4Night Database) is in its second vehicle and is performing faultlessly. Good luck with your installation.

Was a lot of fun and fiddling but everything is installed and working fine. Rear camera, info display and all the other can information is synchronised and working.
