Hi all, my 65 plate Ocean upper Glove box lift up door has broken, hinge issue. Has anyone replaced the whole glove box. Looking for advice how to do it thanks Paul

Hi Kev, I'm didn't mention mine is aT6. The small cog seems to be fixed to the side of the glove box. I have the cog that's broken off. Just need access .. VW said I need to replace whole glove box. Is there a link on here showing how to get gloves box out of dash ? Thanks Paul

Sorry Paul i totally misread the post i thought you were on about the overhead storage locker not sure about the glovebox here is a diagram hope you get it sorted

Hi Kev after stripping off minimal amount of panels to investigate, I didn't have a Torx bit small enough to remove the cog mounting plate so re I've fitted the hinge pin and the lid now opens & close ok.. This is a job I've put off your ages, I forgot the hinge pin was missing.. Thanks for your help
