uprated brake discs

Has anyone fitted vented or grooved discs to the T5. I have always felt the stopping ability of the van is a bit longer than I would like, and just wondered if anyone had fitted non-OEM discs? Can't find any threads or searches linked to this??

i went for forge 6 pot callipers .they do stop it now .i did fit a forge intercooler to

Look rather fine... do they fit with the 17" wheels? Dont want to go with less rubber as our local specialty is monster potholes......
