After nearly three years of amazing journeys in my T6.1 Ocean I’ve just listed it here in the classifieds having bought a 6m Bailey Endeavour B62. Mr Baggins has been a brilliant companion, perfect in so many ways but I’ve been lusting after a high top with more space in foul weather.

What I’ll miss:
Everything’s just so well thought out in a Cali
Coolness
Security of 4wd
Ease of use as a daily driver
The Cali community

What I won’t:
Having to drop the top in an unexpected storm
Lack of space with the top down
VW corporate mentality
Cold water only
No private washroom

This forum is an amazing resource for owners and prospective buyers, thank you all for your support and I’ll still be lurking :)

Enjoy new adventures.

Not having to lift the roof & do the bedtime shuffle makes a big difference. Hot running water, shower, toilet also a bonus!

Good tyre selection will help solve the lack of 4wd.

I hope you enjoy your travels in the Bailey. I really do like that end lounge :thumb

Once you get your new van, be great to see a report on it, the endeavour looks like a lot of van for the asking price. From my own perspective good to see 22 T6.1 holding there price. Suspect like many others will upsize at some point, but only when I retire and can get full use out of a larger van. Enjoy.

Thank you! I initially ruled out rear lounge as I’m 6’5” and wrongly assumed there wouldn’t be sufficient driver legroom. Bot Swift Trekker XL and Bailey Endeavour B62 are fine in that respect.

Nice one, i wont be far behind you as were going bigger too and i realy like the Trekker XL

Edit, you may have got me onto the Bailey with the Diesel heating and extra space under the bed :thumb

Congrats on your purchase buddy. I know there were some quality issues with the skylights on the early Endeavours (see pics) so definitely check yours over when you get it. Good news is you’re probably tall enough to see them without needing a ladder :D

From what I hear they're over that particular problem, my dealer was aware and haven't had any issues since last year's batch. Whoever was responsible for that shoddy work has hopefully been moved on!
