Valve caps stolen

Someone on here mentioned getting stuff stolen in Norfolk and that reminded me that when I was checking my tyres last week it struck me that the rather lovely VW valve caps had been replace with nondescript black ones.
I've checked the tyres before but can't remember noticing if the caps had been nicked.
My first thought was to check the two other VWs in my shared garage, but no.
It mush have happened on one of the south of France sites we've been using recently (I live in Nice). I hope their van rots

Posh valve caps are sh1t. Stick with the plastic black ones. I had to saw off a metal cap once wrecking the valve. They may have done you a favour.

Definitely. I had to deflate the tyres to get the van out of its original garage (the access was by ramp). I had clocked the VW ones then
