Now the hot weather has returned, I get my 2008 T5 vehicle alarm going off when it’s lock
It was randomly intermittent over the last couple of months but is getting more of a regular occurrence, but only in hot weather
Any thoughts?

Possibly the heat is expanding some of the plastic trim inside which triggering the internal motion sensors?
Try turning them off for a while to see if that reduces the random alarms.

Edit
Turning off the motion sensors not the trim...!

When you get your van serviced, ask if they can read out the last triggers of the alarm. It might be that this is stored in the comfort electronics computer. Maybe it is a door lock that is going faulty without you noticing it yet? If you close the van, are all locks really locked?
Try to feel all doors from the outside, and even try it from the inside. When you lock the van with the remote control, you won't be able to open the doors from the inside. If one can be opened, then it will be that lock that needs replacing.
Or if possible, try to lower the sensitivity from the inner alarm (if you have that?). This is possible with the shop's computer.
