Very narrow escape at Magdalena campsite

It was 5th of July. The first day of our vacations.
We were travelling from France to Poland, and making one day stopover at Magdalena campsite in Bavaria, Germany

(really beautiful campsite btw)
, just to visit the very famous Neuschwanstein castle.

Whilst driving along the south German border we were listening to the Swiss radio, making some warning about a high wind coming in the night.

At the campsite we were given the last place available.
About midnight I heard the branch above gently scratching the roof, then I thought, perhaps this is not the right place for tonight, so I moved the van using a part of somebody else's pitch with the lady kind agreement (many thanks).

This is what we saw in the morning:




Good move apparently, the branch was sort of big and heavy, so we would have our Polyroof more inside than outside. :clap
