Well... this peaceful place soon turned to drama. Two police turned up investing reports of 2 dogs bothering local sheep. Doing his duty my best friend warned us of their unwelcome approach. With guns and CS gas drawn they threatened to terminate said friend unless I call him off. A few tense moments later he was back in the van and disaster averted. Thankfully I’m traveling with a French friend who kept things calm. All part of the adventure, another story to tell. Sunset was nice.

Gotta love French health and safety using that - in the UK it would be 1,000 metre (yard) exclusion zone and an awful lot of helmets.

GoodmorningWe stayed at Oberalppass between Canton Uri and Graubuenden. Free parking, next to a lake, road and the street. Nearby restaurant (8 am - 6 pm) and trainstation to Andermatt/Chur. Great to start all kind of sporty activities like hiking, fishing or cycling.
