Good for warming bag up, sometimes leave in. Mainly have under sleeping bag, on setting 2.
Also use after long walks on legs or sit on it.
I’ve attached extension wire so I can run off usb sockets in van, and it doesn’t drain leisure bats.9CF7CE92-C513-487B-98C8-10F22F549D8A.jpeg

Any idea of power consumption? Would it drain the leisure bat overnight!?
I can’t find the the paperwork what came with it, but I do leave it on all night it has a built in timer if it goes off then I fire it up again. Have it on 2nd setting (purple).
The Cali shop sells it and they have done a YouTube video, you can use power packs if you don’t want to run it off leisure bats.
Bargain at £40, but think of it as a hot water bottle not a electric blanket.7049B9A9-CAD2-49D2-AEFA-13B887AF95AA.png

The Vango website suggests 10 watts (5v, 2.1a) but is not clear on this.

Sharpness looking down the Severn towards Bristol. Can just see the two bridges. Lovely walk to the Hulks at Purton.IMG_20211201_132007_295.jpg

Saturday night spot, so we could walk up schiehallion on Sunday in gorgeous sunshine.

Are all the calis tucked away for winter or can we see some winter adventure pics, I used my cali all year round when I had one. Would be nice to see some please.

Good to see Phil, I have some new boots to test out on my feet tomorrow. Hope they perform as good.
My BFG hit a bit of black ice over near backwater yesterday bit hairy, but luckily I was going slow.
The team behind me in a 4x4 pickup with off road tyres had a wee slide. Vectors ok, but on 4mm which is low end of snow tread depth. Either there was ice or that tread makes big difference. Had some traction light action on pulling away quickly. However the mountain carpark was an ice rink and a van pulling in next to me needed 4 + goes to get into the space, no problem for me

Great hike up some bumps by cairn gorm.
XMAS FUN:
First pic spot the van and the fighter jet.
It lols like they are building an aire or campsite up up at the carpark too.View attachment 87500

it's a great spot for an overnight stop, used it many times, lovely sunsets but it can get very windy as it's a bit exposed. The plan is for 66 bays for the recreational vehicles at the Coire na Ciste car park, sadly free parking will stop once that opens, let's hope it does not fill with great whites.
