New wheels? 20"? Really nice. I still have the bland standard 17" alloys, can't decide if I should go up to larger wheels and lowering or higher with fatter tires for offroad.

Probably best we don’t open up that can of worms... but yes 20” rims lowered and I love it. Not all do... but hey let’s leave it there.

Cheers Days Out,
i'm off to Edale this weekend for my first jolly, shakedown test ;-). Could be snow there this weekend also.
Planning to stop over here on friday, as it's easily doable from mine after work.
Whats the crack, just rock up yeah?

Then brilliant winter sunshine on Acres Down, New Forest, the following morning. A stunning day in early February.

Sorry for late reply.

I always called the Royal Oak before hand not so much to book a pitch but to book a table as it gets quite busy in the pub. (‭01298) 83288‬. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.

In fact I went back this weekend for a Saturday night as I took my son to the Blue John caverns near to Mam Tor outside Buxton on the route to Edale.

If it’s really forecast to snow it’s worth asking if you can park on the pub car park instead of the campsite carpark because the campsite carpark has a slope to the road that is testing in the snow for those with lowered front wheel drive vans on big 20” wheels..... but of course totally ok if the carpark is devoid of ice or snow.
