We enjoyed a 900 mile tour of a wet and often very windy Scotland at the weekend, mostly in the far north of the country, Sutherland. 1st night was spent at Loch Stack, 2nd night in the Torridon Valley, both were shared with millions of midges haha.

We endured high winds and driving rain during our night in the Torridon Valley where the roof topper and windscreen cover from Rainbow Screen Covers were excellent and survived the night without any damage.

We also drove across the famous winding 'cattle track' to Applecross yesterday morning and it was a wonderful experience, however the alternative coastal road out of Applecross is more beautiful

.

On our way home we drove via Loch Maree and always stop at the view point to take in the marvellous scenery. Gilbert, our Cali Ocean, never missed a beat

Parked up for the night in the Torridon Valley where we endured high winds and driving rain, proper Scottish weather



Tea break to take in the magical vista of Loch Maree from the view point higher in the valley.
