One from long time ago.
July 2010. The second journey with my (then) brand new California. The first Swiss sticker on my front windscreen. The highest I had taken the van.

The biggest desilusion for seeing the Rhône glacier back after 23(?) years.
2010:

1987 or 1988?:

Back then, you could spot the Rhône glacier from way down in Gletsch. Now you don't anymore.

Note: the last pictures are not taken from my California!

Wonderful place, there are many good campsites that give good access to the GR20, they are also higher which makes them cooler when it gets too hot on the coast. Where to you get the ferry from?

Italy, Spain ?. No, Halifax. The Piece Hall. Built 1779 and used for trading in wool and cloth produced in the region.

Had a couple of days in the Halifax/Bradford area and also visited the Moorside Industrial Museum

and the National Science and Media Museum in Bradford.

Well worth visits if you're in the area and all free.
