Was reading a article today about a new batch Police combi‘s beeing introduced here in Antwerp.
T6.1 has found the way to the corps .
In the past the whole range of Transporters has been used by the them .
about 86.000€ so even more expensive than a Cali !

Comming from these in the ‘70s a major evolution .

Looks nice! They should get Cali's. Then they can make coffee while on a stake out :)
I always find it reassuring that the Dutch breakdown service (wegenwacht) drive T5's.

Thats cause those vehicles have a lot more options than youre Cali. They are a mobile workspace with all the connectivity that requiers.

I like the T2 but not the Camera.

The Golf was probably employed to catch the Brits
heading to Nürburgring, although only 8 valve but those were
the days. :)

I wonder if it is possible, at some stage in the future, to get the blue lights as an accessory for our Californias too?

Hopefull California,
Eberhard

@westfalia , the front door opening was probally a one of , they used to be all normal versions .

86k... not even alloy wheels!!

Begs the question why engineer a complex front opening when there was a perfectly good opening window at the back? Stealth I guess, long before the human rights lobby said Gatsos needed to be dayglow yellow and have warning signs just in case someone felt aggrieved at getting a ticket for doing 90 in a 30.

Probably didn't need to bother on the the way back!

You Belgies do love a speeding fine.....ask how I know

You tell me! Just paid for my last one. Know that the whole Brussels Region got limited to 30km/h! :Nailbiting

The past.

The present.images-170.jpeg

Every time i see a GC i hit the brakes, no matter how fast i am
driving. Its those windows in the back doors that remind me.

I do like the GC though, not dissing it.

Must be difficult to get any speed up with that camera out.
