VW Bike rack fitting

Can you ask a dealer to fit a bike rack ? We have a new Cali ordered, I want a bike rack (No tow bar) how easy are these things to fit ? How long does it take ? Based on a VW one ?

If you have included it on your spec it should be already fitted when you collect the van.
They are quite easy to fit, in fact I wish I had been able to fit mine myself as the person who installed mine made a hames of positioning the protective plastic strips!

Can be a dealer fit option, so just let them know, and they'll fit it before you collect...

No I didn't include it in my spec, I didn't even see it as an option otherwise I would have !

They are easy to fit once you have the tape applied.

Hook it on and fix at the bottom with 2 screws.

No, just order it through the dealer... You can get them to do it prior to handover, like any other dealer fit options like floor mats, dashcams, roof bars etc etc...

You can do it yourself of course, get the parts through the shop etc...

So..for the benefit of anyone reading this post with the same question I had.. I contacted the dealer and I'm having the bike rack fitted by them before I collect, it's £595 in total £545 for the rack and £50 to fit so I'm happy with that as it saves me the hassle
